Meet Pongao, a lucky baby elephant who will never have to give rides to tourists

Thanks to your incredible support, two-year old Pongao’s life is about to be transformed.

Until recently, Happy Elephant Care Valley allowed tourists to ride the elephants – which requires them to go through a cruel training process. Now, we're helping the venue transform to become truly elephant-friendly. This move will end all contact between tourists and elephants at the camp, to help meet the growing demand for responsible elephant experiences.

This big step for elephants is thanks to you and thanks to our coalition of travel industry leaders, which includes TUI Group, The Travel Corporation, Intrepid Group, G Adventures, EXO Travel, Thomas Cook Group, and others.

Our wildlife work

Around the world, wild animals are being exploited. They’re hunted down, trapped and farmed in captivity, all to be sold and abused for entertainment, medicine, fashion, pets and products.
