WATCH: You surprised 31 previously abused monkeys with delicious enrichments

News

You recently gave 31 rescued dancing monkeys like Panjul honey-filled banana leaves and honey logs. Take a look as they devour their special enrichments thanks to you!

Thanks to your wonderful support recently, our partners at Jakarta Animal Aid Network prepared some very special enrichments for Panjul and his rescued friends.

While these curious cuties were busy playing in their quarantine enclosures, the team members carefully smeared yummy honey on banana leaves and filled this sweet treat inside wooden logs. They then surprised them with these nutritious enrichments that the monkeys absolutely loved – to say the least.

Watch the video to see the monkeys relishing the enrichments YOU helped provide:

These sweet monkeys were snatched from their mums as babies. Starved and beaten as training. Forced to wear masks and dressed up as dolls for human entertainment. But thanks to kind people like you, they were saved from the clutches of the barbaric dancing monkey trade.

With you by their side, Panjul and 30 other monkeys will hopefully soon be able to recover from a life of trauma and soon be ready to be released back into the wild, where they belong.
