World Animal Protection find it distressing to see the cruelty sheep have suffered in the Middle East on our screens again as ABC’s 7.30 aired an exposé on Live Export following the Festival of Sacrifice, once more highlighting the inherent cruelty of this industry.
World Animal Protection is fearful for the welfare of cattle destined for China. As a new live export agreement with China nears, we are concerned for the animals' welfare on the long journey and at their destinations in China.
