An animal lover’s inspiring run

30/06/2014

Twenty-two year old student Lisa Patterson wrote to us recently to let us know she’ll be representing World Animal Protection at Sydney’s City2Surf 14K fun run in August. She is hoping to raise $3,000 for animals around the world and is nearly half way to her target with 8 weeks to go.

Lisa, who describes herself as “not a runner”, is having a go because of her deep passion for animal protection issues.

“I could not be more honoured to be representing such an outstanding organisation, with whom I share both my beliefs and morals.”

Thank you Lisa, and thanks everyone who runs, walks, climbs, cycles, or whatever they do to raise money protect animals. If you would like to help animals by participating in a fun run near you or by holding your own fundraising event, please contact Nicole Wood on 02 9902 8012 or email nwood@worldanimalprotection.org.au
